Day 1

New year started with a bang. In fact many bangs from the barrage of fireworks in Cookridge and the rest of Leeds which brought the gundog out in Luca the weimeraner. I finally got back to sleep after 2am, but thankfully not working until the 4th. Took Sophie, James and the rodent boys back to Manchester for an early start to term. Called in at Jane and Garys for tea. They've lost 1.5 and 3.5 stones respectively in the last year on slimming world. Very impressed! The pisca-vegetarianism continues but the alcoholic abstention will start on the 4th!
