Today I attended my first bonsai class. I went to the John Hanby Bonsai School. I went to the Bonsai Academy level 1. Talk about experiential learning. All the others were experienced bonsai creators. I done none. It was a 10 - 4 session. You were given a plant (5 year old Juniper), and then had to decide on the best "face", how you'd model it, wire it, and finally pot selection. The plants would then be put up for sale!
